Indoor and Location Portraiture and Bridals Workshop with Maz Mashru and Norman Phillips - June 6 and 7, 2011 - Maz of Leicester - Leicester

MONDAY session will cover various styles and techniques for Studio style portraits and bridals. Lighting, attire and interaction with the client are covered as you follow two of the industry's leading portrait artists create images you can emulate as you have the opportunity to use your camera. This session commences at 9:30 am breaks for lunch and recommences at 1:30 pm.

TUESDAY session is on location and the class will divide into groups that will be mentored by Maz and Norman. You will create images you can use for your own website and display and we will produce prints for you to take away. You will learn or enhance your existing skills at finding backgrounds and light. Both Monday and Tuesday sessions will end at approximately 5:30 pm.

Norman is an internationally acclaimed wedding and portrait photographer with outstanding credentials. Rick is one of the world's leading digital artists with extensive credentials and lectures across the world to professional groups.

This a all day intensive workshop. In the MORNING session Norman will create the portraits demonstrating lighting techniques that create the perfect representation of the subject. Part of the this technique is analysis of the subject and who he or she is and selecting the appropriate attire. This session commences at 9 am.

In the AFTERNOON Rick will demonstrate work flow and the finishing of the portrait using Photoshop. This session commences at 1.30 pm. The workshop will end at 5 pm. You have the option of reserving for Monday when the subject will be female or Tuesday when the subject will be male or reserving for both sessions.
