Preesha Chhaya got married at Goosedale in Nottingham on a glorious August Saturday

August is a busy month for weddings with so many brides hoping to catch the sun for a summer wedding. This year sadly so many brides have been disappointed by the crazy British weather, we have had so many last minute changes to plans because the weather has just created mayhem for our summer weddings with so many venues even flooding and brides having to change venues on the day of the wedding.

Thankfully, this weekend was not one of them when Preesha Chhaya got married at Goosedale in Nottingham on a glorious August Saturday. Preesha chose Maz Events team for her mandap and we certainly created one that everyone was talking about. Goosedale looked beautiful. Indian weddings in Marquees are always beautiful, but mandaps in marquees can look stunning when a floral mandap is selected and this is what we chose for the theme for Preesha.

The floral themed wedding was pretty, a vintage style with pastel colours. We used a  classical round mandap, in fact it was a round roman pillar mandap with crystals to create the look. The walkway had candles and flowers, the mandap was decorated in flowers – it was all so pretty.

The evening by sharp contrast was black and gold. What a transformation and the dark colours created the evening atmosphere that Preesha wanted for a great party mood. It was a great party of course! because the entertainment was provided by DJ Arjun from Kudos Roadshow. Arjun was also the toastmaster for the day and made sure the wedding ran to plan and time. We understand that he was very popular!!!

We enjoy Indian weddings in Nottingham because there are so many nice venues to choose from. We especially love working at Goosedale, you can do some great things there and every time we have decorate Goosedale, we make sure it looks different from the last.
